Dream of Charcoal Drawings.
I had a dream last night that I created two huge charcoal drawings…the size of entire walls. One was on one large canvas and the other was on rectangles of canvas sewn together. They were each of dark cityscapes from a bird’s eye perspective. Each one had this huge orb of color that covered part of the composition. The edges of the canvases were unfinished. The one that was sewn together was also a print. The colors were dark and it almost looked like a quilt.
On the far wall of this dream gallery there were smaller, more representational charcoal drawings. I was asked in my dream to do more charcoal drawings and my idea was a self portrait next. One of the charcoal drawings on the was was a still life and I can’t remember what the other one was.
This may have to happen.
